With these awards, the Fundación Universidad Europea aims to promote the participation of students of Higher Level Training Cycles, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degrees of the Universidad Europea, from its campuses in Madrid, Valencia and the Canary Islands, in the design of actions that provide solutions or help to respond to the various and complex challenges involved in the search for a sustainable environment on our campuses.
La naturaleza de esta convocatoria se centra en movilizar a la comunidad universitaria en el desarrollo de proyectos que permitan:
Creating and implementing innovative initiatives that introduce improvements in sustainability, as well as in the health and wellbeing of the various campuses of the Universidad Europea (Alcobendas, Villaviciosa de Odón, Valencia and La Orotava)
Encouraging volunteering initiatives around the 2030 agenda that drive sustainability on the various campuses.
Promoting training or awareness campaigns for a more sustainable use of campus resources.
Neutralising or minimising negative environmental impacts on campuses.
Exceeding the standards already achieved on campuses, moving towards even more sustainable campuses and offering new solutions to old problems.
Promoting an increasingly inclusive university, understanding diversity as a fact.

Create a bio-regenerating work area by harnessing solar energy, generating a covered outdoor ecosystem.

Creation of a department oriented to the Sustainable Development Goals formed by students from different faculties generating activities focused on the SDGs.

Proposal to improve the accessibility of the campus for students with visual impairment or reduced mobility through an interactive map on their mobile phone guided by a voice system.
Sustainable Campus
Creation of a Sustainability Club for all campuses of the Universidad Europea with the aim of conceiving, developing and implementing innovative initiatives that introduce improvements in campus sustainability, as well as in the area of health and wellbeing.
